A display of 0 gauge toy trains, mainly American, open to the public from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th August 2007, at the Old Royal station, Ballater, Scotland. The baseboard was a temporary affair, seven feet deep by ten feet wide, with three ovals of K-Line track, laid loose. Wiring was all on top of the boards, but mainly hidden by accessories.
There is one siding (spur) connected to the inner oval, plus several other sidings, not connected to the main lines, and just used to store various railway vehicles. The engine shed area is also not connected to anything, and the eagle-eyed will realise that the turntable is Hornby - therefore too small for most of the tender engines in use, and, being designed for clockwork locos, missing the vital third rail.
