We arranged a table at the rear of the layout, for spare rolling stock, and tried to rotate locos every couple of hours. This meant rotating rolling stock too, due to incompatible couplers - a mixture of Flyer, Hornby and at least two types of Lionel (pre and post war). We somehow managed to forget to take Marx to this show.
