The display featured two ovals of track, with an extra loop and siding, enabling two trains to run, with two more awaiting their turn. Star performer of the weekend was the little black 0-4-0 tank loco, which ran with a train of five four-wheeled passenger cars, for almost eight hours each day.
Most of the track used was Playmobil/LGB, together with some Lionel (yellow sleepers) and a little Bachmann. The battery powered three car electric set is shown above, resting whilst the battery is being recharged!
