Lionel pre war 261 steam loco - perhaps one of my favourite locos. Runs superbly and looks so solid. Wiring is proceeding - the two inner main loops are each split into four sections, any of which can be switched to one controller, to enable seamless running from one section to another. Any of the eight sections may be isolated, to enable safe parking of motive power. There is a 'bus bar' below the layout, for all returns, and plenty of feeds to the centre rails, to minimise voltage drop.
