Finally seem to be making a little progress, although still a long way to go, but is a layout ever finished? The next major project is to stop ignoring the large hole in the middle of the layout. It is an access hatch, which really needs a cover, for when access is not required.
Roads are another concern, as is the surface of the boards. Perhaps I should remove all the unfixed items and apply some sort of ground cover, but that is straying dangerously towards Hi-rail territory. The layout lacks signals and street lights at present, and that is another job to be tackled.
