The basic boards have now been erected, with a few modifications, to use the existing boards from the previous layout, in a new configuration. The overall size is now seven feet wide, by ten feet deep. There is a centre access hole which will probably reduce in size, to about two feet by two feet. Operation of the layout will be from the outside, rather than middle.
Track laying has begun, although the current layout is far from permanent. I am really just laying track, on two levels, to try and decide what works, and what does not. Lower level track is K-Line 0 gauge profile, 042 and 072, whereas the upper level is K-Line 027 profile, 054 and 042.
