A mystery object. What is it? A model of an American signal box, or switch tower? Marked 'Made in Japan', with the trade mark 'T.N', inside a diamond shape. The green roof and grey base are plastic, the main structure is tinplate. When was it made? By whom? For whom?
The back has a flap, with space inside for four batteries, and there is a grey twin core lead. Some sort of mechanism under the roof. The blue prongs protrude from the front, and go up and down within the slots. What is it supposed to represent?
Please ignore the Hornby post war buffer on the left, because it won't connect to Lionel 027 track.
