John Hill and Company, popularly known as JoHillCo, were a British firm producing a range of metal figures and accessories, in competition with the better known firm of Britains. The JoHillCo range was huge, mainly military figures, but with a range of civilians, a farm series, zoo series and railway accessories, too. Later figures were plastic, and the firm continued until the early 1960s. Whilst the railway accessories were more in scale with Gauge 1 railways, they are often to be seen on 0 gauge layouts, including my own, and are therefore included here.
