The Hornby Type 502 electric loco was produced from 1948 until c1949, in the liveries of both LMS and LNER. GWR and SR liveies are possible, but have yet to be confirmed (as at April 2025). Post war electric locos were made for export, and seem to be found mainly in Australia.

The tender appears to be genuine post war. Image credit Vectis Auctions |
