Hans Heinrichsen

(Nuremburg, Germany)

Production of Heinrichsen flat figures (19th century) established a scale of 28mm, measured from base to eye level, each figure therefore being a little less than 1 1/4 inches in height (excluding hats) which makes them slightly undersized for 0 scale displays, but not noticeably so - Dinky/Hornby figures are 35-40mm tall. Production of Heinrichsen figures ceased 1940.

A selection of Heinrichsen figures is illustrated below. Each figure in marked 'Made in Germany H/H' and a number.
