Merle F Faber was an employee of Rollin Lobaugh circa 1935-38,and, after leaving the employ of Lobaugh, commenced production of his own range which, whilst similar to Lobaugh, is not identical. The range included flat cars, reefers and boxcars, the reefers fitted with opening hatches and the boxcars sliding doors. Both reefers and boxcars were supplied with pre painted sides, in a choice of liveries. All wheels were insulated for both 2 and 3 rail running. Faber sold his business to Irv Athearn circa 1942-45.
