Donetsk Toy Factory was a Ukrainian business which acquired many ex Tri-ang and other tools from the Russian Novo company, circa 1980. Donetsk was then able to reissue the toys, including ex Tri-ang Big Big trains and Frog aircraft kits, for the Soviet domestic market. The former Donetsk Toy Factory building is currently the Friendship Trade (Shopping) Centre. See also Novo.
