Jean Depreux established his toy business in 1950, producing toy garages together with forts, cranes, farms, doll houses and others, also issuing under the name Azur. By the 1970s, Depreux was importing toys from abroad, to sell within France. Jean Depreux retired in 1979, and the company ceased trading two years later.
