Commonwealth Plastics Corp.

The Commonwealth Plastics Corp. were located in Pennsylvania, USA, I believe, and were makers of plastic toys, including dolls and accessories for dolls' houses. The lamp posts, or street lights, illustrated were sold as accessories for dolls' houses, but, at a little under five inches in height, are often to be seen decorating toy train layouts, and are frequently assumed to be made by Marx. It seems fair to assume, from the images below, that the lights were available in at least three colours (red, black and green).
