Bilbax or Baxtoy produced a range of toys in England, probably early post war/1950s. These comprised railways, road vehicles, a Conveyor Set, Horse Racing Derby and probably others. Was there a connection between Baxtoy and Toby?

Doumor Electric Conveyor
The set illustrated below is a Baxtoy Doumor Electric Conveyor system, power passing to a small motor via the running wires, which are strung between the two pairs of red wooden poles. The poles are fitted with wing nuts, to allow attachment to a table top. Recommended power source is a 4.5v dry battery or 6v car battery. The box describes the toy as Bilbax, but the instruction sheet shown below is clearly marked Baxtoy. Bilbax by Baxtoy or Baxtoy by Bilbax?
