Philips Mechanical Engineer
This is the box for the Philips Mechanical Engineer kit, a truly awesome set, containing numerous cogs and gears, out of which can be built all manner of wonderful things including a fully functional clock. This wasn't a childhood item - I bought my set via E-bay recently, but haven't plucked up the courage to actually attempt to build anything yet.
